Hi, my name is Germán- like the nationality but pronounced Her-man.
As a passionate photographer with 13 years of professional photography experience, I specialise in capturing the most significant and emotive moments to craft evocative visual stories for my clients. With expertise in authentic wedding photography, I serve the North East region, including Newcastle, Sunderland, Durham, and Northumberland, as well as destinations across the UK and worldwide. By expertly blending technical mastery of light, vision, and technique with a deep appreciation for nature's beauty, raw emotion, and true love, I am known for seamlessly fusing natural documentary and editorial styles.
I was born in sunny Gran Canaria in Spain, but 8 years ago I left my job as a fashion photographer for magazines like Glamour, Cosmopolitan, L'Officiel, and Hello! to become an English teacher in the UK - a surprising career change, as some may remark. While I've always been passionate about photography, art, and capturing human emotion, I didn't see my future in creating editorial and advertising content. Instead, I longed for a more meaningful pursuit, like educating the next generation.
Despite leaving the photography world, I still missed it deeply. About a year ago, I decided to start my own wedding photography business. It's been the best decision I've ever made. As a hopeless romantic myself, I absolutely love being able to capture the joy and beauty of love. I LOVE love.
